    4 yard Box Pleat Kilt

My 4 yard Box Pleat Kilt in the latest run of XMTS Tartan was delivered today. Our own MAC Newsome made it for me, and this is my first wool kilt. I hope to get some pics over the weekend. It is beautiful Matt!

Hmmm, I wonder if that means that my XMTS box-pleat kilt from Matt is next?

    Congratulations!

I'll be looking forward to the pics...

So, which stripe did ya'll pleat it to?

As I made mine from the last run to the big one, I might do this one to the yellow.
    I'd LOVE opinions!

(This kilt is still a little bit off, I have several projects that MUST be finished first.)

It's from the last run, but I chose to the yellow, and that makes the wide white stripe flash when walking. And being one of Matt's box pleats makes it awesome!

Great looking kilt. I like the way the white stripe shows when the pleats open a little. Good health to you to wear it.

I hate to post a "me, too" post, but, um, "Me, too!" I love looking at pictures of Matt's work, and it just fuels the joyous anticipation with which I await the arrival of my MacMedic tartan kilt from him. Your X-Marks kilt looks amazing!

For comparison, my "beat-up" one to the other stripe:
