Alabama Football in a Kilt
So I had not been able to wear my kilt lately, so I decided to wear it to the Penn State vs. Alabama game. Since I sit in the student section it definitely wouldn't be the first time someone's worn a kilt in the stands. It went really well! I had many compliments and a few asking why and then giving me strange looks when I say, "Why not?" Only one of my friends didn't approve, but then she changed her tune after it was 17-0 in the 2nd quarter. she then told me I have to wear it to every game from now on! Absolutely no one asked me the question about undergarments. The stranger next to me seemed a little uncomfortable but that went away after the kickoff.
The only downside is it attracts drunk frat guys who think you want to carry on a conversation, about things not important to an independent.
Anywho, it was a success!

that is always the case when wearing a kilt, you have to be tolerant with people as someone drunk or sober wants to know you

RTR, you left out a valuable piece of information! What kind of kilt? What tartan?
Hopefully it had plenty of red and white in it.
I'll be wearing my Isle of Skye when LSU plays Bama.

I personally like to wear my saffron with navy blue hose when the Broncos play, and my Black Stewart when the Ohio State Buckeye's play. There's not a THING wrong with supporting your team in that way!!

Oh yeah! Sorry,
It's a royal stewart tartan, and I don't know what brand (if any). It came from a souvenir shop in Scotland. I'll try and post some pictures soon.

Hey now, I am often a drunk Fraternity guy. We are not all obnoxious. lol
Good on ya for going kilted. I agree with the "why not?" statement. When asked what the special occasion is I say "Well, because it's (insert the day of the week here)"

As a loyal Penn State fan, I know know who to blame their poor performance on.

I like that. Personally, I am of the opinion that any day when I'm still converting oxygen into carbon dioxide is a special day.

Another Penn Stater here. I'll have to wear a blue & white tartan so we can wash the tide out of Beaver Stadium. Who knows, you may have started a new trend here for college football.
