    Am I a kilt pusher?

I know this is a rather interesting title for a thread, but bear with me...

A couple of days ago I received a message on face book that an old friend that he has just bought his first kilt (congrats KiltedTigger!). Now this would be cool enough, but it get's better.

The Stone Mountain Highland Games is coming up. As I am going to attend I invited a young man (17) that I mentor to attend with me. After he agreed, I asked if he was going to go kilted. Of course the response I got was "NO WAY!". Well after conversation with his mother and when he found out that his Grandmother was from Scotland (a MacMillon) he has agreed to wear the kilt to the games and I have gone in with his mother to purchase a USA kilts casual for him.

The next story comes from dinner on Friday night when my wife and I went to a friends house. During the course of the evening he mentioned that he had found a Irish tartan from where his family comes from. I then invited him to the games as well. As we are close to the same size, he has agreed to go kilted to the games as well.

So that is three guys in 1 week taking on the kilt for the first time. My wife tells me that I am not a pusher, but an infection.... I think I like pusher better!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Hmmm... introducing an addictive substance to friends and minors, huh? Nah, that's a pusher if ever I heard. Now laughter; that's infectious.

no, you are an enabler....you enable non kilt wearers the opportunity to be kilted... now if you were in back alleys whispering.."hey, got kilt".. that would make you a kilt pusher... you enable the unexperienced the oppurtunity to enter into this life, we like to call "the addiction"....LOL

Watch out, or they'll start a national war on kilts. And all the kilt pushers will be put in prison.

I think the kilt police will take a lenient view

First Typhoid Mary, then Kilted Splash_4.....

I think we are all guilty of encouraging, enabeling, suggesting the wearing of the kilt. You, my friend, seem to have had a particularly good run recently.

Congratulations and keep up the good work!

"Enabler" would be a better term, however, "Pimp daddy Kilt pusher" would be a fine alternate.
