    Ammusing Comment Today

    I was grocery shopping today and happened to be kilted. Nothing too formal, a p/v MacDonald kilt, muskrat sporran, sweater... the rest of my outfit was made up of likely kilt don'ts, so I'll stop there. I came around the corner to the cereal isle and a 5 year old boy with his family got a look at me. As I walked by he gasped, "Oh... Are you going to play a song?"

    I smiled and replied, "No, not today." His mom got a chuckle out of it too.

    [QUOTE=Jack Of All;699847] a p/v MacDonald kilt, QUOTE]

    Awesome, I too wore a MacDonald today!

    It's funny how people immediately assume you're a piper when you wear a kilt. I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me.

    I like that the kid is already associating the highland dress with the highland pipes. Good on him!

    Someth'in very simular happen yesterday at the Highland games, a youngman about 6/7 with his mom and dad and big sister walked by as I was stand'in in the shade and said" I didn't know "Santa" wore a skirt",to which his mom corrected him as she was pulling him along! His dad appologized and we both laughted! I could hear his mom telling him I was a Scottish Santa as they walked away! That was "Cool"
