This past weekend we (my band The Mad Maggies) played 3 three set gigs--that's a LOT of notes!The middle gig was in Maggie and my hometown--and it was HOT. Not "hot" as in we ROCKED, but "hot" as in it was over 100 degrees and we were playing outside. We were all wilting. After the sets half of the band came over to our house to chill out for a couple of hours before heading off to the next gig. I said to our sax player, "Hey, man, I'll loan you my camo UK for the evening gig if your game." He said, "Yes, please!" He played that night kilted and after the gig asked me if he could wear it home so he could show his wife what he wanted for his birthday... So my camo UK is currently out in the world making a sales pitch. There's no doubt he'll be gigging (and hanging out) in his own kilt before long.
