    Another enjoyable evening

Yesterday our celtic band put on and played in a Ceilidh in aid of a local breast cancer support group. It turned out a great night. Over 170 people turned up. Plenty of men came along, but as usual, I was the only one in a Cilt. Elaine wore her Jones shawl. I will know later how much money was raised, but I guess it will be quite a bit. Here's a few piccys.

    Derek,

Great shots as usual. I can see why you are smiling (a little bit anyway), I see the love you have for Elaine in your eyes.

Splendid shawl! Did any of the other women wear something similar?

I promise I will take a better quality piccy in the next few days with Elaine and her sash and myself and I will 'really' smile . Glen .. yep, we have been married 27 years and my love for her grows even more stronger as each one goes by. She is not only my wife, she is also my best friend. Tim .. no, no other women wore anything similar. The girl on the far left of the first two pictures is Les, the other singer in our band. She is getting her Welsh Shawl this week in time for this weekend coming as we have another two Ceilidhs to do. She is choosing another contrasting colour. She should have a Davis tartan but she says it'll be to close to Elaine's Jones, hence the reason of another choice. Will defn take some more piccy's then and before anyone asks, I will smile . Good news is, I have been told we raised (including monies from the raffle) a little over £1150 (GBP).

Derek, I really like Elaine's skirt. I could see my wife in one like that, where did she get it (Wales I guess)

Hey Derek, is Les married? She's gorgeous. Congrats on the fund raising for breast cancer.
