Another Fine Compliment While Kilted at Work

    Me too Chasem.

So its my birthday today...cake at work...I'm kilted of course, new SportKilt Black Stewart [thread on contemporary kilts forum].

A married coworker (husband's a large ex-cop who works with us too) says,

"I love to follow you down the hall and watch your kilts swing."

Think she meant more than today's new SportKilt...but definately a compliment.

Nice part...I enjoy the pleat swings too.

Oh yeah...I just finished my 61st orbit around the sun...if I'd known I was gonna live this long I'd have taken better care of myself....what a long strange trip its been....

Happy birthday (from another Oct. 12 birthday boy)! I had a few ladies tell me today, "A man in a kilt is sexy!" as I was walking down the street. I thought they were pretty sexy too, but since they were with their boyfriends I refrained. Instead I asked out a pretty lady who's been flirting with me lately, and she said yes, so I'm happy.

Take care of yourself? You're wearing a kilt now...you're in the peak of your health!

    Andrew.

Happy birthday Ron!! 61 is good and you look much younger. By the time I get there I would have been wearing kilts for 10 years full time!
    scary thought, but good :-D

Happy Birthday, Ron! You share the same birthday as my father in law...I might be able to remember this way, eh?

    Happy Solar Orbit Day!

Interesting comment made by your co-worker, and I'm sure made in all innocence....but can you imagine saying the same thing in return? lol, too funny.

Love the kilt-swing myself and on that note.....do box-pleats swing? Never owned one and am considering having one made.

Many happy returns, Ron. How grand to be spending it kilted!

There is something very special about the swing of the pleats that I have not been able to adequately express. It is sexy, but why? For those of us who grew up seeing men only in trousers or shorts it's a surprise to find kilts so masculine.
