    Another kilt supplier

Searching for celtic designs I came across this site, they sell kilts, they may be fine kilts, but look at the way they are shown!

I don't get it....i mean...they have all the other stuff too, sporrans and jackets etc....so why show the kilt backwards?
Do you think they did it on purpose just to show the pleats? *confused*
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

From being a Lifeguard, to college, to the millitary and a few visits to the hospital I've seen some things that would cuase one to require some serious counseling, but the kilts on that site are the most desturbing thing I've seen in a very long time.

It almost looks like they tried to button the PC coats on the display

Please excuse me, I need to take a moment to sort this out.

I think that they are seriously misrepresenting kilts and such, they probably argue with customers that the pleats DO go in front!

    What not to do........!!!

This is just dreadful. Apart from the appalling way in which the kilts (or most of them) are shown, there is no description of them other than that they are "lightweight" that the fixed length is 23" and that there is a choice of waist sizes. Are they of wool, poly-something, acrylic - what? Nor do they appear to know the difference between plaid brooches and kilt pins.

I despair, and feel for the unsuspecting wannabe kilt wearers who might go there for advice!

They also sell "skan doughs". Is that some kind of new Scottish bread?

They have even on the odd occasion got it right out of pure luck. Good on you for letting them know Graham. It seems someone told them they had 2 hours to photgraph everything in the shop for the web site.

Okay...I've seen these folks at local events...they're a small shop in a very nice "antiques-and-bed-and-breakfasts" sort of small town in Northern Illinois...I used to drive through there on the way up to Wisconsin all the time. Cut them some slack...they're probably on the internet just to keep up..."...do you have a website?"...if they want to have any sales from people who see them at an event and can't make up their minds on the spot, they need a website for those indecisive buyers to come back to. Everybody isn't 21st Century Kilts...

I have been meaning to drive up and stop and see their shop in person. Fall is a good time. Maybe I'll suggest that they ought to spiff up the photos...they're obviously just shots of the outfits hanging on the walls of the shop.

Ease up...they're just a small shop in small town...everybody isn't out to conquer the world, you know.

    Best
