Another step forward

I decided to test the waters again today with working in the city kilted.

I had to install signs to an office in the city. When I arrived I found that some of the State managers of the company were there and a photographer for the opening of the new office. I went about my work, did the best I could.

As I left one office the receptionist called out .."nice kilt"! that made my day.
There are times when i feel like a pig in a synagogue, but it gets better and better.

How long will it take for your local newspaper to a do a feature on the Kilted Sign Maker?

Graham,

Congratulations on the venture into the foreign world where they do not know you. I am sure that you made a kilt with the nice kilt comment.

Did the photographer take a picture of you working in your kilt?

Why would you feel that way Graham? They're the once who are repressed and unenlightened! Congratulations none the less. It's all too easy to let detractors keep us from being who we are, I'm proud to know someone like you who will not let that happen.

Jamie, you ask why. Just those inner doubts we all have from time to time that need to be conquered.

For example, I had a fear of deep water, so I took up scuba diving. It used to terrify me jumping off a boat into deep water, now I love it.

It used to worry me a lot being seen by others in a kilt, now I love it, as you all do.
