    Any one in North Carolina

    Hello all,
    I will be stationed back in the states here in a few weeks and will be going to Seymour Johnson AFB NC. (and no fun on the name please lol) Its in the goldsboro area, an hr away from Raleigh I believe. I will be going to Tx for training first so I wont get to NC till mid Sept. I was just wondering how many you are are out there close to that area. take care

    I used to work as a deputy not more than 30 miles from there.Its not a bad area,kind of rural.Lotsa hog farms and turkey farms.Close enough to the coast that you can spend some time on the beach.I really like that whole area.
    Its better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it,and remove all doubt.

    i am in the Raleigh area. specifically i work in Cary and i live just south of Knightdale. and yeah, there are a handful of us in the area; hopefully they will all chime in...
    ...and that will give me a list of people to target for an NC Kilt Night.

    I am in Winston-Salem, too. We do need to do some kind of a kilt night but given the distances, perhaps a kilt afternoon?
