Well, there's me. Hi. I'm south of Rochester.
Looking for kilted events and festivals, huh? Make your own. Make every day St. Patrick's Day. Make every night Burns' Night. Waiting for sanctioned events to wear the kilt is no way to live.
Upon further reflection, perhaps waiting until the wind chill gets above 0 degrees would be the time to make your own kilted events.

And me, but I think your idea of Upstate and mine are really different!! I'm just west of Utica.

Well I'm originally from Dutchess County...and everyone there still says Upstate. I'm up there once a month...I'll keep my ears open for events.

I was at the C.I.A in Hyde Park and I still get up that way frequently.
Oddly enough everyone there seems to refer to it as upstate. I guess upstate starts at the Yonkers border

I'm from Westfield, thats in Chautauqua County. You don't get ANY more upstate than me, as I can see Lake Erie from my house
If you didn't care what happened to me, and I didn't care for you. We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain. Occasionally glancing up through the rain, wondering which of the buggers to blame, and watching for pigs on the wing.
