it has been and off and on thing for a few years now low socks are so much better looking and do not give you super funny tan lines.

Lance wears ankle highs----black ones at that. The only way you get to see the tartan on these is if you have some height to the sock. I go either way depending on the day, my mood, and whatever else I am wearing.

Yes, sock length seems to be rising in the peloton these days , but I prefer the low sock look. Thanks for pointing these out!

I do not follow fashion trends I was so excited when shoes stopped being predominantly black. If given a choice of colors for shoes I want the loudest ones that fit well. ( currently NW are the fit) I only wear socks when it is not above 70deg I am not doing 200+k a day so it is just fine for me. (feet swell at 70+deg )
