Atlanta area kilt rental

This is just an FYI for anyone looking to either rent a kilt or knowing someone who needs one. There is a kilt rental store in Metro Atlanta called http://www.atlantakilts.com/. I met the owner just by chance in the Tandy store today, and only because I was kilted (he wasn't). I asked him if he also rents by mail and he said he does, so this may be a resource beyond this area alone.

He carries Black Watch (natch) Royal Stuart (ditto) Mackenzie and Gordon Modern, Irish National, Pride of Scotland, and MacDonald.

The owner also pipes professionally.

Um.... While his rental prices seem about average, his purchase prices are extremely low. $135 for a kilt? $195 for a PC jacket? Or $588 for the entire outfit???

Even assuming these purcahses are ex-hire and not new, tailor made kilts, these are very low purchase prices.

It might be a really good deal, but I'd like to see the kilts before buying, or talk to him about them. Often when something sounds too good to be true....

My thought was that the kilts are probably that 16 oz acrylic, or a wool-poly blend, for those prices to be anywhere near correct.
