Not an issue for my daughter. Imagination? She's 14, has been reading voraciously since she was a baby, when she insisted we read to her (which we were glad to do). She sucked up Harry Potter, which turned into the Tolkein Trilogy and Narnia. Now she is never not carrying a book around on the off-chance of a bit of reading time. We sometimes have to make her leave it at home on school days so she will interact more with her classmates....

. Never happier than when reading. And I don't read just "good" literature. In fact, I mostly read "trash", and I do agree that Shelly's Frankenstein is not a very exciting read.
