an average day in a kilt?

hey guys this is prolly not the most inteligent post on here haha but im just curious to know on an average day, what do most of you do kilted? im still in highschool so really all i wear mine for is school band concerts(play drums), my own band's concerts(play guitar and sing) and hopefully soon to be pipe band concerts(snare if things go right haha) ya i guess you can say im into music...hell who am i kidding its my life...but anyway ya that and funerals weddings whatever else calls for formal attire. but ive noticed(believe it or not) that wearing my kilt is incredebly confortable, good looking and scores chicks at my concerts haha so i wanna start breaking the kilt into everyday use but im curious as to what you guys do in your kilts on a day to day basis...as well as how practicall they are for your situations..thanks for the help dudes

I do the usual stuff. Go to work. I eat breakfast. I type whole sentences in a paragraph format. I go home and grill or cook or just eat dinner.

In other words, I live.

Yep i do everything that would have done in pants. The only difference is that people smile when I come into a room, even if hey don't know me. I just got in from walking the dog in a kilt, the only difference there is that I was way more comfortable. Remember the kilt is not just for formal wear, it all depends on what accessories you wear with the kilt, for every day wear I like to wear my freelander sporran a casual kilt belt, sometimes hose scrunched down sometimes up with flashes, sometimes sandals with no hose. I would not wear my dress sporran like that though. Just do it you will figure out the right combo as you go. Good luck with it.

I wear my kilt any chance I get, to the gym when I work out, a night on the town, to dinner with my wife , watching American football on the couch.As long as you don't mind people asking questions why not wear it when we want.

Anyone ride a motorcycle? How do you handle that in a kilt? Just curious, I'm beginning the process of obtaining my first kilt - and do ride extensively.

Well I have noticed that besides everyday living, I also have complete strangers come up and talk to me, I walk taller, I am more aware of people around me (maybe a newbie thing), and of course FREEDOM!

To the Supermarket, General shopping at exclusive stores like K-mart, Target, Walmart, Home depot, Hungry Jacks etc.
To the movies, Mall, Post office. wherever I normally go.
Kind of like wearing shorts but without having your "Boys" squashed.
