The Bayou City Pipes and Drums based in Houston, Texas are now accepting enrollment for their second year of Bagpipe Tuition classes.

The first year of classes recently finished with 5 students graduating and moving into the full band.

The classes are structured to take students from complete beginners to band entry level within 40 weeks. 5 blocks of 8 classes teach the students everything from basic scales and technique through to playing ten tunes on the Bagpipes.

At the end of each block of 8 lessons the students are tested prior to moving on to the next level.

Anyone interested on joining a band or simply learning to play the bagpipe is welcome. Classes will recommence on Tuesday 2nd February 2010 at 6pm.
