    Talking Bang! Unexpected SWK purchase.

    Ok!
One of my Wish List items is out of stock. Possibly permanently... It is a great Vintage Fatigue Sweater from Orvis.

So, Wife told me about these kilts she saw on ebay. Those aren't an option.
I started browsing. Kept coming back to SWK. Erg. Saving for the Weathered McKenzie, but 34W is out of stock. Hmmm... There are other kiltmakers...
USAK is great, but I want my next kilt from them to be tweed (another saving effort). Union Kilts' brown cords are discontinued.
SWK Standards called again... Nightstalker? Ah ha! Saffron! Bang! Pulled the trigger. So my first SWK will not be my first choice, but the WM will be purchased when the size comes back.
    I'm quite pleased! Woo-hoo!

Very nice, but I liked the huge collar.
Wife bought a slightly different one for me.

I love my saffron. I want to get a wool one next. You'll like it. It looks better in person than on the website.

I was debating whether to get the Irish National or the Saffron. I wanted a tartan for this one, I think I will get the Saffron next, but I think it may be a SWK heavyweight for that one.

Get some pics up when it arrives (should be any day now).

    Congrats on the new kilt.
Saffron should prove to be a good buy, looking forward to seeing pics of you wearing it.

I liked the Saffron also but SWK was out of my size so I got the green heavyweight last year. But I'll only wear wool sweaters and or Polar Fleece, cotton just doesn't work at altitude.

I really like that sweater too. I hope we can find a new vendor. I will do some searching today.
