Best kind of email to receive

A couple of weeks ago I sent Jerry at Stillwater an email asking if he could let me know when a medium Thrifty in Irish National Tartan came in. He said he wasn't sure if he'd have one available before Christmas, but he'd let me know. I also needed to buy a set of kilt buckel/straps.

If you know Jerry and Stillwater then you know how this story ends ;-)

He emailed me this morning that he had one ready--badda-bing--badda boom I receive the following:

"Your item has been shipped: Irish National Tartan Thrifty-Kilt (Medium 34"-37" waist) Kilt Strap and Buckle 3-Pack"

Now to wait the 2-4 days it takes to get here.

A gift to myself this Yule!

    Thanks Jerry!

Sorry it took so long to get back to this--I had a bout of food poisoning--ICK! Anyway, just as Jerry always does, the order came out quickly--I think 4 days and I was ripping the box open.

I LOVE THIS TARTAN!!!!!!!! It took me awhile to 'go there' with this tartan because I typically either just wear my Clan Tartan or my Navy Edzell (wife actually understands why I need severl kilts in the same tartan).

I've been doing a lot of family research lately and we have a ton of Irish influence. It was something my grandfather was fairly proud of...so, to all the Irish women who succomed to the onslaught brought by the men in my family--I gladly wear this tartan.

    Hmmm...now maybe a Tank--In Sligo...... MATT??????? ;-)
