BlobFest was a wash out, but...

...I did get to visit USA Kilts and meet Rocky and Kelly... great store and really nice people. Do expect an order for that Fraser Hunting casual, as soon as I get the funds set aside. Although, my wife really loved the German National, as did I, and surprised me by asking if I would get one in that. I reminded her that was the traditional kilt and a little out of our budget right now. I need to start out slowly.

I also got to wear my just completed canvas kilt for the first time, got soaking wet, and had some funnel cake.

This was my first kilted outing, and I do believe I am hooked.

While Blobfest wasn't exactly a "kilt event", it was a costumed event, so hopefully that elleviated some of your fears. AND... Phoenixvillans (as I like to refer to people from Phoenixville) are kind of getting used to people running around in kilts by now.

Thanks for the kind words about the store! Let me know when you want that Fraser Hntg!

I did consider the nature of the event as a suitable time to try it out. I figured there might be some more of the free thinking types there.
