Very nice kilt ! I like your choice pleating to the stripe. He did a really nice job. To bad I never see him offer anything for us Camerons.

That's a very nice lookig kilt. There are a couple of little things that show attention to detail--like the belt loop matching the stripes--that make it better than what I would have expected.
Thanks for the nice pix and congrats on a kilt you really like.

Congratulations looking forward to the pics of you wearing it.

I have had two kilts made from Bob Chalmers, and was satisfied with both. One was in clergy tartan that I wore to our recent Xmarks Burns supper. They are machine made and hand finished, but I doubt that few other than kiltmakers could tell the difference between that and completely hand sewn. Both were finished and delivered sooner than estimated. The prices are quite reasonable.
Mr Chalmers does not make the kilts himself, from what I understand, but uses kiltmakers in his area. I found him easy to communicate with in getting just what I wanted. He does more than many retailers to make and keep the customer satisfied.

Congratulations, English Bloke.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
