    Broken Mum

Took my wife in for surgery today. She's doing fine. New name: RoboMom. Litle bits of Titanium implanted in her elbow. Cant wait to explain this to the TSA people. But I guess they see this all the time. Oh, well, she comes home tomorrow. I will be waiting on her hnd and foot. Well, she is my wife, after all.
Still, out, standing in my field.

Best wishes for your wife. Physical therapy is the key to rapid recovery. My wife got a titanium knee replacement a few years ago and we find that TSA will always go for the full pat-down despite being shown the ID card.

Well take care of her. My wife is taking care of her mom right now, she just got a titanium hip, released yesterday.

Best wishes for a quick recovery for your wife and added patience?energy for you.

I have a neck full of titanium from four fusions done over the years and have had MRI's since with no problem, but the neck doesn't bend as well as it used to. I havn't flown since before 9/11 so I can't speak to the security thing.
