Burnett's & Struth Casual Sale
Burnett's & Struth has been running one of their $175/$199 sales on casual kilts made from a nice list of tartans in 13 oz. and 16 oz. wool. I have ordered from them before and been very pleased with their finished product. In fact, while I have been "jonesing" for some other kits to arrive, I went ahead and added an Ulster Gold from B&S to the list. If anyone wants a great 5 yard wool kilt for a great price I'd check them out!

I'll have to check them out

I shut my eyes and turn’d them on my heart.
As a man calls for wine before he fights,
I ask’d one draught of earlier, happier sights,
Ere fitly I could hope to play my part.

That is a good deal. There are a couple of unusual tartans in stock as well.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I have one from them in the Dress MacDonald tartan that I got last year during a sale, it is a wonderfully made kilt and is a favourite of mine for Scottish Country Dancing.

I got one on sale in December in the British Columbia tartan. At that price, you can't go wrong.

I received one of their $175 sale kilts recently, a Malcolm Modern tartan.
They recently updated their list of available tartans as they are selling out of many of them. At this price I can certainly understand why.
