    Huh?

Do they really think people are just constantly throwing kilts away? The manufacturing of the materials cant be bad for the environment. I dont think they have too much time on their hands. They don't even have enough time to do research before pushing their bizarre agenda.

I agree with the tone of the reusing part. I buy every well made kilt I find, when It's a bargain. I don't believe I've seen very many kilts not sell on ebay. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

oh...and as another point...isn't wool 100% natural, bearing no harm to the environment at all? I'll never understand these people with money and time to make trouble for someone else...

Yeah, it seems that the article is mostly concerned about textiles being thrown away.

I know I'm going to be throwing away any wool kilts that cost $300 a year later when they go out of style...

This is weird. Either you hire a kilt because you only intend to wear it for a special occasion or you buy a kilt because you intend to wear it reasonably often. Kilts, especially heavyweight wool, are so much more durable and are passed on for generations rather than ending up in the dustbin beside a two year old pair of trousers.

Real bunch of loons. They obviously don't know kilts outlast their trousers by decades and wool is a renewable resource. They must have run out of real issues to complain about.
