Buying stuff at the Estes Park Games

OK, i have now seen many threads of who to buy from and who not to. So, for those who may know, what perennial highland games vendors of kilt-stuff are the ones to look for if i get a chance to go to the Estes Park, CO games in 2 weeks?

I may wander up there because I am thinking of getting a formal jacket like an argyle or something like that. Also, any advice on what to look for in a formal jacket? I am thinking, the usual (wool, made in scotland, etc). but if there's anything else i should know....let me know.

The beauty of using the vendors at the games, is that you can touch, feel, smell, try-on the product!

I loved the Estes Park highland games. I went back in 1997 when I was living in Boulder. If I were looking for an argyle jacket I would look for a recognized name like Lochcarron (which is the brand of argyle jacket I own).

Ozone, Geoffry Tailor is always there along with several other vendors. As noted in several other threads, beware of Clansman Knitwear. I did not see them at Estes last year but they usually have been there.

Stop by the piping competition over by the basketball/tennis court. I'll be one of the helpers keeping the pipers on time.
