    Can Someone help me identify this tie

    I bought this at a thrift store. I dont know if it belongs to specific organization or what.

    Possibly a family tie, printed in a small batch, as that is not embroidery.
    Or some sort of Scottish-American group, with the initial "M", that realizes Central America exists but wishes it didn't, so only outlined it in dashes? (and really doesn't believe in Canada either. ;-)

    That is the outline of Scotland placed on top of North America minus Canada. That's how it looked before the movement of the tectonic plates.

    Yes, it is certainly the outline of scotland on the top, and the outline of the USA on the bottom, and the faint outline of Mexico on the bottom...

    These correspond with the country flags, but the Mexican flag is not present...Maybe they didn't know what the Mexican flag looked like, and placed a letter "M" in its' place.
