    I saw this story elsewhere. Basically, during a wedding being held at the local Temperance Hall, a wedding party got pretty inebriated. The groom sat on his new wife's leg and left an unsightly smear on her wedding dress.

    As a result, she got furious at having her dress so dirtied and slugged him, which started a melee between the two families.

    That's a great story, if a bit disgusting.

    It seems the sitting is not what he needed to be more careful about.
