    Casual Kilt supplier in UK?

One of my favorite casual kilts is now too small and cannot be altered to fit (?). It is a 5 yard economy wool kilt by Hector Russell that cost only GBP99. So I logged on to their site to order a new one, and - disaster! They have stopped supplying!!!

So can anyone tell me a good place to get a wool economy kil in Britain that won't cost me an arm and a leg? (I'm not too worried what tartan it is but should be a dark colour)

    thanks

You could always give Geoffrey Tailor a call.
Depending on your size they should be able to make you a 5 yard casual for a similar price.
I've had luck with them in the past.

If you're strictly looking for suppliers in the UK, then you may want to try some of XMARKS' UK advertisers...

    http://www.tartanweb.com/ or
    http://kiltstore.net/

    They both have Casual kilts.

Have you tried www.unionkilts.com ? They sell a causal tartan kilt in their own tartan.

Many thanks to al you who suggested suppliers. I'm following a couple of leads including getting my 'small' kilt let out

I suppose the cheapest route is to go on a diet ;-)

    Cool link, Chris.

Went looking for something like this a while back, without luck. Will definitely bookmark it. Thanks.

    Best regards,
