    Celebrating Kilted

This past Sunday was the Quadricentennial Of Henry Hudson's discovery of the Hudson River. There was a big outdoor party with band and Tall Ships and seeing that it was such a lovely day and the 65th anniversary of D-Day, I was out in my kilt. Got asked "the Question" one time and responded with the Hose and shoes answer and got asked were my Bagpipes were twice. I responded both times with " right under my kilt", which got a great laugh both times. One person asked me what I was celebrating and I told them D-Day. They stopped and thought about that and said "yeah I should have remembered that". I was the only kilted one there but got many thumbs up and approving glances and had my picture taken several times. All in all, a good day.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Well done my friend well done on all accounts. I like the response about the pipes.

Surely an accident of geography. A man born in a stable is not a horse.
