Celebrating my daughters sixth birthday
My oldest daughter turned six yesterday and we celebrated together by wearing he favorite color ... purple! Here is a picture of the two of us together. I am wearing a Heritage of Scotland tartan with lovat blue hose and a navy New Jersey Piper vest.

She is a beautiful young lady. Enjoy them while you can. All to soon they grow up and are gone. All mine are grown. I love them, but they aren't near as much fun as they were at that age. Although, you get to have fun with the grandchildren. My wife says its to bad the kids grow up, but your husband never does.

Super! Great look on her and not too bad for Dad! :oP
Cherish the time together, it goes fast. Mine is 19, just seems like yesterday (well maybe last year) that we were chasing him around in a purple dionosuar suit.

Congratulations on a beautiful daughter. As Gunny said be sure to enjoy her now because they grow up so very fast. My youngest was here today to see Sydnie7 and me and it is hard to believe that beautiful 21 year old was the same little tom-boy I coached little league, soccer and basketball for. The years have just flown away. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
If you can avoid it never get into a fair fight.

Enjoy her while you can. All too soon they are grown up and moving on. All the kids are now on their own and the grandkids are getting up in age (3 in college).
Happy Birthday to your Princess!

Happy belated birthday to your little angel! Thanks for sharing her birthday picture with us. My wife and I like purple, too.
The best advice anyone ever gave me is the same thing you have already read from some of the postings above - they grow up way too fast! Take time everyday to enjoy you children. It won't make the time go by any slower, but it will make you feel better later about the time you spent together. Cheers.
