A Celebration of Tartan _ April 1-3, 2011

For all of you in the NYC area - there's going to be an exhibition on the history of tartan at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, April 1-3, 2011. Many kilts and other tartan interpretations on display plus the debut of a new American tartan. Check out www.tartandayonellisisland.com. The website is asking the likes of the X Marks the Scot community and others to submit their favorite kilt shots for their online photo gallery. Very cool.

The Scottish Tartans Museum will have an info table as part of this special three day exhibit, so I'll be in attendance. I hope to see a lot of you there!
