Celtic Connections 2008

Any of you xmarkers visiting Ferintosh over the next two weeks, and like me, love live music, take a look at www.celticconnections.com.
This is a truly fabulous event featuring artists from USA, Ireland and Scotland of course.
From accross the pond there will be Suzy Bogguss, Joan Osborne and the legendary Jerry Douglas. Last year there was only me plus 1 other wearing a kilt. Let's put that to rights huh?

If I had owned a kilt last year, I would have worn it. Won't be there this year unfortunately, but hopefully you'll have kilted company.

To anyone pondering this, let me say that the talent level is soooo high! It's just a good time. If you're counting the pennies you haven't got and still want to swing in on vacation, you can get a ticket to a evening thing for like 10 pounds. No guarantees on who you'll see but they'll be good. I lucked out last year and saw Solas!
