    Christmas Stockings for pipers

On my favourite highland dance forum someone posted that they were selling Christmas stockings for dancers and pipers. They've got a couple of photos up and they're reallllly cute!

Here's the link if you're interested in a stocking for the piper (or anyone else) in your life.

I've posted a question asking for different tartans and colours. We'll see what she says.

What a nasty web site. It took forever to get out of it.

Those would be easy to make out of an extra piece of tartan. I wonder where one could obtain extra pieces of tartan. Hmmmm.....

For next year, when you go to the Highland games, the kilt vendors usually have a trunk full of remnants they sell. Stock up and you can make a few for next Christmas.

Ah gotcha! Wasn't sure if I had to get my dance swords out for a dual or not.

I'd forgotten about those as I've been using Firefox for a couple of years now. FF alone automatically reduces pop-up ads by 80% and if you use the AdBlock Plus plugin for FF, you can take that reduction of pop-ups to 95%.
