    Clan Lamont booth

This past Sat the Oregon Scottish Society held there annual Scottish Heritage Festival in Albany, Ore.
Elva and I hosted (our very first) Clan Lamont clan info table.
Every thing worked out wonderfully well. We went in Fri night to set up and I spent a lot of time glad handing and meeting other clan reps and venders.
I have 5 yerds of the acient color Clan Lamont (cotton) cloth that I used to decorate my table and banner.
I purchased one of Stillwater's muted Lamont kilts and I wore that with black shoes, white kilte hose, a light blue shirt and my black balmoral hat with a light green pom. This way I got all the clan tartan colors and then some.
If I knew how to post a picture i would do that very thing.
I have been invited the Portland, Ore Highland games to have a Lamont Clan tent in July. Then in Aug to the games and fest near Roseburg, Ore, Then maybe to Kelso, Wash in Sept.

It was nice meeting you there, And the kilt looked great by the way. I really enjoyed the festival. Some really good piping, and quite a few clans represented as well. Good luck in Portland, and Roseburg.

    Robert,

Keep up the good work, we Lamonts have to keep looking for fellow clan members.

I am planning on going to the Dalton GA Highland Festival the first weekend in May, Clan Lamont is one of the honored clans.

    Robert,

Greetings from another Lamont, and congratulations on your first tent. I've hosted the Clan Lamont tent at the Stone Mountain Highland Games in GA for the last 2 years. Lots of fun!

    Cheers

    Another Lamont

    Gentlepeople,
My spouse is a Descendant of one of the septs of Clan Lamont as best as we can figure. We are interested in the Clan, however the Clan Lamont of North America Website is not working???

Sounds good, glad you had success. I'm not a clan member, but I wear the tartan.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

No it isn't, it's been down for several weeks. It's always great to have another Lamont (even if it's by the ring) on board.

The Society has a great book on the history of the clan, I can give you the ordering information if you would like get the book.
