    CLEARANCE - Tartan Material

Here's a link for you "do-it-yourselfers" that might be looking for remnants.

    http://www.thescottishweaver.com/tartanremnants.html

Remember that the width of material that they're stating, makes it so that you can double the length by "joining" the two long halves. There are some mighty tough-to-find goodies on here.

Jimmy keep your eye out for This one

If you see this on the cheap side post.
it seems so rare and nobody can find in in an alternative Material (Poly/V) but like 16 oz wool 9 yards or so would do me fine.

Well, you can buy this one pretty inexpensively... trick it out with the sewn pleats, tapered apron, add belt loops... and not break the bank until you can get what you really want.

Maybe I have never seen a sport kilt up close and have not heard many good things about them but I did try to email about that material and get a feel for it and I never got a reply.
if it was a decent Poly Viscose i might be tempted. there are a ton of great seamstress's around the base I work on. but i see kilts allot like a car "if you don't got a good frame and body to work with no amount of spoilers and stickers is gonna make it cool" ya know.
