Cross-country trip, kilted!
My wife and I just returned from an incredible summer vacation. We spent the day in Chicago and then rode the train to San Francisco, where we spent a few more days.
I wore the kilt the entire time. I got a few questions, a few stares, a "thumbs up", but mostly compliments. One waitress asked if I were Scottish or if we were going to a costume party. My wife answered, "Every day with him is a party!"

Downtown Chicago

Outside our hotel in San Francisco

On the Golden Gate Bridge (careful, it's windy!)

Taking a tour of Alcatraz

Climbing to the top of Coit Tower

View of San Francisco from Coit Tower
The trip was a whole lot of fun and I think my USA Casuals held up pretty well.

USA Casuals, a great way to travel. That's how I usually drive and travel, unless I'm in my House of Edgar heavyweight Wallace kilt as I was Father's Day weekend driving to Franklin NC for the Taste of Scotland. I wanted to be in my wool kilt for the 2 days at the museum, the parade and the activities. My 3 USA Casuals (one with the Logo and two without) are great for everyday wear and travel.

Grand pics and with a comment like "Every day with him is a party!" your Mrs obviously loves you.
Denim Jacket? I've no problem with that. It a good look for that wearing the kilt everyday thing.
Best Regards John

What a great way to travel. How many kilts DOES it take to cross the country? I too like the quote, "every day with him is a party." She is obviously proud of you. You are a fine looking couple and you wear your kilts well.
