    Dang it's hot out, hope I don't melt ....

I'll be out for the Staurt Martz CD release and show at Muldoon's tomorrow in Newport Beach, hopefully it'll be cooler down that close to the ocean because it's time to unleash the leather kilt upon them as promised.
Here inland it's hot and humid and definitely not pleasant, I think the thing might weld itself to my body in such weather.

Ai Bubba, and calling for 100+ just a little south of you. The only saving grace today (spoken by the FL boy), was only 28% humidity, even though it got to 101 based on the bank clock inland from the lake.

108 F here in Jamestown ND(by the TV runner)! My Wife and I went over to a friends house for dinner tonight and stopped in at the bottle shop for some wine to take to them. I was asked while I was there if the kilt was hot my reply was "no there's more circulation than shorts" and there was too.
Nice to know though that the clerk knew what she was looking at.

OK if I wasn't Kilted the heat would be more unbearable than it is now.

Trust me, there are many types of heat besides absolute temp.

I've left 110 California returning to Atlanta, Georgia and all people did is complain of 90s Atlanta and how unbearable it is.

Colorado is also Hot but dry. It will wipe you out by dehydaration and you not know it.

Yet, down here. 95 will make you pour sweet in minutes, doing NOTHING.

(all temp F, I'm not sure of C conversion)

In my retail job, I must wear pants (usually jeans). I am AMAZED at how much hotter jeans are than a thick wool kilt, especially when I change from one to another. The jeans feel like a denim sauna!!

Today (off)-> I stayed INSIDE as much as possible, yet STILL sweated buckets getting few things done outdoors and playing with my kids.

I would not advise an 8 yard 16oz for summer daywear down here.

4 yard box pleats, however, are as good as shorts and look more impressive.

Tomorrow we're going to a BBQ at my sons house. I'm gonna wear my USAK semi trad so I don't overheat. They say the heat index will be about 110 F.

We are going to be at 100 F the next two days with humidity between 70% and 50%. Hardly any breeze at all. You see very few people outside. Everyone is staying inside in the air conditioning. We are expecting this to continue on through next Friday, and the National Weather Sevice has issued a heat warning for our area. I can't imagine being outside in trousers or shorts in this weather.
