Democracy and patternmaking- the Inverness Cape

I probably shouldn't post this but I am anyway. Just over a year ago four of our members (including me) paid in advance for an Inverness Cape from a fellow member. There was an option as to how long the cape would be. I chose and still do to have it fit mid calf.

However, nothing was ever delivered. We all spent around or over $300.00 American. I'd be interested to see if that charlatan would ever post again.

My advice is to go with a reputable firm if you want to order an Inverness Cape and do NOT go with.....well PM me and I'll be MORE than happy to share the so called kilt maker's company name with you. MORE than happy. They are expensive so save your bucks folks and go with someone you trust. Just MOHO.

I do not know the traditional length but I went with mid-calve for the same reasons as noted above.
