    Depleted kilt fund

AHHH! My kilt fund is depleted again. I have been well behaved in regards to my kilt spending as of late. I Have been jonesing for a kilt that I haven't even ordered. You see, I have been saving up for a "real" tank but also want the fly and a hostes skirt for the wife. These should be ordered at the same time so that they match perfectly, but that really increases the overall price.
Unfortunately, every time I get money squirrelled away, something comes up and depletes my kilt fund. This time it is dental work. Not something that I can go without. I need to replace a lost crown and have some other minor work done. I HATE the dentist! I have a friend that works for a company that makes crowns and sells them to dentists at 100$ a piece. So that's about a billion percent markup to the consumer. Maybe I'll console myself with some kilt accessories.

    End of rant.

So sorry to learn of your need for the dental work but you're right, it cannot be ignored.

I'd say that you're also right in your assumption that the purchase of a few kilt accessories will help to alleviate the pain - on both scores. Yes, my friend, go for it/them!

I need to the dentist also. A really scary proposition out here considering my dentist doesn't speak English!!!!!!!!!!!

I soon learned open, close and pain!

...ahh, the Tank Fund and its tendency to diminish in direct proportion to cool new things coming on the market.

I've achieved the state of mind that the Tank is in the future but a couple of shorter range acquisitions are more likely to happen...then, of course, that SWK Nightstalker sporran in leather came up as yet ANOTHER short range goal...
