Dis life get better?
jus' took a lang walk chuckin' the ba' fur my twa dugs....
we were walking (weel- I wuz walkin' - they were runnin'!)
through some recent growth o' assorted hardwood trees... the sky wuz blue an' bricht an' the temp wuz cool...
I had oan board 6 pints o' real ale (local) an a small Cohiba Habana, Cuban cigar... an wuz snackin' oan Austrailian licorice nibbles....
I had my Robertson huntin' tank oan... an I wuz wonderin'...
dis life get better?... I cannae think that it daes...

have oiny o' you had an hour o' sae o' personal pleasure an relaxation like this?....

Wow that must have been nice, I often take my two dogs walking kilted here in Southern California.

Nibblin on Aussie licorice bits and kilt wearing... Smoking a Cuban.... Drinking pint or three.... I cannot think of anything better..... Except if I was there too..lol

Life does indeed not get much better than that. So since you asked- yes, I do get that kind of blissful relaxation from time to time. But I have cats, so it usually involves a cat, a chair, and a dram.

Good post! 
I remember being on the Isle of Jura about five years ago and, having taken a kilted walk with my family across the heather, we sat with our backs to the Paps looking out to sea.
Although my family glen, Stratherrick, is in the Highlands, by circumstance my grandad was born on Jura. We'd spent a long weekend researching family history and getting to know the 150 locals and 5,000 deer. At that moment, it all came together and the isolation brought me closer to my dear, departed relative who lived there until he was four or so.
Ah, wonderful memories...
