what do you mean by what teh set is...do you mena the size of it or if the kilt is to the stripe or sett

What I mean is the distance from where the tartan pattern begins to where it is repeated.

Hello, can anyone please help me? I want to have trews and a kilt made but I need the sett size to figure out the amount of material required. I need to send the material away and I need it PDQ. I have been trying, by pm and email, since July 9th to get an answer. Someone must have a piece of their Black Watch fabric.

the sett is 8x8

Marton Mills P/V is available in 3 different Setts.

1 3/16"
2 5/16"
3 5/8"

They also have 13 oz. Wool in stock with a Sett of 4 5/8".
