    Dueling with Slowpokes

So I'm in line at the supermarket. A grubby guy in his 40s stocking up on beer is behind me. I'm in my new Scott Modern Red hand sewn kilt. He speaks.

    GG: "What tartan is that?"

    Me:"Scott"

GG: " I know its scotch, what tartan is it?"

    Me: "Scott"

GG: "I'm probably more scotch than you are, what tartan is it?"

Me: "Clan Scott its a border clan, a proud clan, a very large clan."

    GG: "Clan Scotch?"

Me: "No, S-C-O-T-T....scotch is a drink, Scott is a clan."

    GG:"Oh..."

Then he starts listing his clans and what their tartans are like...he gets to Muir....I interrupt and say that Muir is a beautiful tartan...he looks at me..."It is?"

    I'm gone...

I'm sure he's more scotch than I am...probably more beer too...

The best is his insinuation that he was somehow "better" than you, but then he further reveals his "tard-ness." hahahaha... haha.

Heh heh heh, yeah, I agree with you that he may have had a little too much scotch!

He obviously never saw the original Star Trek

Especially the episode where Scottie wore a kilt.

This was definitely my Friday laugh. That's the story and the comments.

    Thanks!
