    EBAY-UK Win--and the Jonesing begins

Woohoo--snagged this one at the last minute. WPG has this for $295 plus $30-$50 shipping. My win, including postage, should work out to about $220.
I will join the company of the HEAVY duty Black Watch. With this cold weather heading in, I could use it NOW!! Pictures will follow, of course.

Actually WPG has them all the way up to a 50 waist--but the length is a problem for me. The one I won should work out nicely.

Oh I know, that's my point. Hard to find the genuine article, but you did! Kudos.

    A kilt for flipper?

its a custom kilt made for a specific person. Its interesting to note that despite a size of 190/107/122 (190 cm height) its supposed to only be 24 1/2" long. This is a high waist kilt so it really like 22 1/2" long in a civilian kilt. This should fit someone, if I did not make a mistake in my calculation, 5'6"-5'8" or so and not as specified 6'4" in height. This seems to point to someone with a abnormally long torso and short femora. Michael Phelps is 190cm and his torso is quite long (more like 4" longer rather than 8" as here) and he has short femora for his short legs but I'd still think he'd need a longer kilt (a length en-par perhaps with 180 cm height but still no less than a good inch to inch and a half longer)! I think, despite the answer from the dealer that it probably was shortened. The chances of an altered kilt seem greater than the chances of a BW solder having such body dimensions.
