embroidered polo shirt - opinions wanted
I'm thinking about having some embroiderd "kiltsrock.com" polo shirts made. They would be single color shirts, with the kiltsrock.com logo ( no words, just the kiltie) embroidered on the right front in black ( on lighter shirts) and white on the dark shirts.
Does this sound like something that anyone here would be interested in, provided I can get the shirts at a reasonable price? I figure it would be a great way for the kilted to wear a kilt to work where pants are required!
thanks,
KT

I like the sound of it. I find myself feeling more "put together" when I wear a polo and kilt hose as opposed to a T-shirt and sneakers. So... yea.....

Good idea, Kevin. Maybe you could do a lovat blue and lovat green as two of your colors- they would go with lots of tartans, and it would make it easy to find kilt hose to match!

I am thinking of doing the first run as a grey shirt with blank embroidery, as to work with the largest number of tartans...
if anyone has a suggestion for a better first run shirt, I'm all ears..

To be honest with you, I am more prone to wear a polo style shirt than a t-shirt with a Kilt, it seems to have a nicer look. Does that answer the question?

I agree that lovat blue and lovat green would be the best options to go with traditional tartan kilts. Other than that, I would guess a black shirt might prove popluar, and would go with about anything.
I wouldn't be interested in a gray shirt or a white one. Maybe a dark camel colored one though!

I like the idea, too, but grey doesn't turn me on. A Lovat or forest/hunter green would be my choice....
