    The Emperor's New Kilt

The National Theatre of Scotland and Wee Stories have produced this hilarious re-imagining of the classic Emperor's New Clothes which is currently touring theatres in Scotland.
Its all about the Laird of Kiltie,a vain and tyrannical land-owning snob with a passion for kilts, 2 chancers called Harris and Tweed promise to deliver a kilt 'the like has never been seen before', for his bithday, made of extra special cloth that only clever people can see.
Of course the laird falls for this clever ploy by the dodgy weavers, Harris and Tweed.
Should be fun and I hope to catch it shortly

From what I understand, their kilts are made of cloth the likes of which has never been seen....just not in any good way.

At the very least, it's never been seen made into a kilt. And for good reason.

He doesn't go about ranting about his long, flowing golden locks and firm round buttocks, does he? We have a character here who could do the part with little acting ...

If he's "wearing" an invisible kilt, does that count towards kilt checks?
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

Never did understand that story. Why would you want to wear potentially invisible clothes? even if clever people can see it, that still leaves all the stupid people in the world. I mean, how many of you would wear clothes that will make idiots stare and laugh... never mind.
