    An experiment getting pictures up

    "<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/59561289@N02/5485835862/" title="P1011440 by biathlonman, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5292/5485835862_cb9fcd986c_z.jpg" width="480" height="640" alt="P1011440" /></a>"

The two pictures are interesting - and these are two of my kids. The unhappy member of the light company does not much like being under orders from his sergeant sister.

If the photos don't appear, I'd appreciate some help.

    Can't see the pictures...

I followed the instructions in the "Tips fpr uploading pictures" post

    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-photos-57487/

using image shack without any problems. Maybe try that.

    Good luck.

When you place a URL in between the [img] tags, it must appear as the address for the actual, unembedded image. In the first one, the URL should be:
    http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5292/...9fcd986c_z.jpg

and the second should be (no quotation marks):
    http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5300/...e560a34f_m.jpg

    Give it another try!

    Photo posting effort

And here - hopefully - is another approach to kiltwearing - at an enormous annual reenactment with the dastardly Yankees (all Boy Scouts) and one I did for nearly a decade. As my kids left Scouts, I reluctantly stopped doing this.

The uniforms are actually borrowed from the Fort York garrison. Trivia item: Fife and bagpipes are actually a pretty great combination.

I know that Redcoats send chills down the spines of Americans, so I apologize in advance.
