    Fabric re-weaving

    Hey Guys,

If you have a hole or small tear in your expensive wool kilt, but just can't part with it, I know someone who can help:

Charlotte Wiggins - director of Market / Sales
    Fabric reweavers usa
    12555 biscayne blvd. #792
    North Miami, fl. 33181
    Toll-free 1-877-806-9374

    Email: flasquaw@yahoo.com

They "reweave" fabrics so that it'll look almost as good as new. She contacted me via email to see if I was interested in charging for this service and subcontracting the work to her... I'd rather have the people contact her directly.

*** please note... I don't know her or have anything to do with their business... I'm just supplying info as a service to interested people.

    Thanks Rocky.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

That's great! I have a Lochcarron Kilt in Davidson tartan with hole on the top apron edge. Thanks, Rocky!

A very good reason to keep scraps after making a kilt. That way they don't have to cannibalise the kilt for threads/cloth.

Used to be that almost every town had a reweaver but now they're hard to find. Thanks for the information!
