finally...but not quite

[Spartan Tartan]

I have honestly tried to ignore the jones. But, I just can't anymore. Back in April I started talking about finally getting my next kilt. After hemming and hawing I finally decided on the following tartan...



Any of our resident experts recognise this one? It's the Cornish Hunting Tartan. I decided to pull the trigger back in late May. I decided on a heavy weight custom weave from Dlagliesh (spelling??), and luckily got the material ordered before their recent (and necessary) price increase...phew.

I was fine until just a couple days ago, when the above picture along with pleating options was emailed to me. Now, after a summer of ignoring the jones...I have a bad case. With any luck my wait will be over sooner than later!!

I think I am going to go with pleating to the white stripe. It really catches my eye that way.
