The one labeled "Pipsters Plaid" looks like it's supposed to be the Colquhoun sett, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

i put up one of the "black watch" personas...but combined with the XMarks tartan, it's a bit jarring...

A little too loud for my tastes. I used "Scottish Hills in May" as mine.

Thanks! I put up the MacDonald tartan. Both the Scots names in my mother's side have tartans of their own but they're not shown. Both families, however, were originally septs of clan Donald, so that's the one for me. |

I have one now, but every time I look at it it sort of gives me a headache!

I use the Lady tartan from the first link. Doesn't clash with xmarks at all and the white background of the tartan, seems less 'cluttered' if you know what I mean.
You want headache Paul.? Try any of the Hello Kitty personas....ouch!
