First Jones in quite a while

The "down turn" in the economy has put a severe lid on any and all kilt purchases for the better part of the last two years, but things seem to be turning around for both of my businesses so I decide to splurge and replace some hose.

Found a rather nice package deal out of the UK for wool and Lycra hose, so I picked up four pair for just under $40 US. Not patterned or argyle, but they have to be better than the ones I've been wearing that have holes darned over darned holes....How many holes can a hose be darned before the hose is darned near holes?

So now I have a wee slight Jones...humm B&S is having a holiday sale.....NO! must say nooooo!

Of course pic's will follow when the dear new hose arrive.

Yes, I have the Saltaire. She'll be visiting my nieces wedding tomorrow then off to elsewhere. I have quite a few pictures from her sojourn here and will be posting them soon. Right now I need to finish the service for my niece (I'm officiating) after that we should be able to post the first of many.

    Just as a teaser:

Taken on the Dine Reservation, about 40 miles north of Gallup, in a little town call Hatch. The Saltaire visits Saint Mary's Mission.

    Kilt on!

No that is Hatch, in the southern part of the state. This little town is about 170 mile north and west of Albuquerque.

If you want Chili Peppers, try these

    More to come

    Nice!

Two Hatch's in one state? That must get confusing if your not a local!

Put's me in mind of the last winter Olympics in Vancouver (BC). There is also a Vancouver, Washington further south at the other end of the state. They had many out of state (including international) visitors stop in, look around confused & ask "where's the Olympics?"

Oh, we have lots of fun with our geography, just for example:

Hatch - where the chili festival is (home of famous Hot Green Chili)

Hachita - a small mining town far west of Hatch by about 135 miles.

Tohatchi- (Pronounced two hat chee) a even smaller town on the Dine (Navajo indian) reservation about 300 miles away from Hatch.

Tohajilli (pronounced Toe haj a lee, but often pronouced to hatch a lee) is a school, fire station and a couple of churchs.

Don't even get me started on the Los Rancho's around here.

Haven't been to Tohatchi, but have been REAL close taking the backroad from Crownpoint to Window Rock.
