First Kilt on the Way

My Dad reminded me that I hadn't given him any "hints" on birthday gifts.

So, yesterday I got busy and did some shopping. After 8 or so years, there's a MacDonald SportKilt with my name on it. I've thought of getting kilted since going to the highland games as a kid. Now the day is just weeks away!

Oh yes, there will be hose in gray, green, and navy. (At least they aren't white, right?) And red flashes and a black Buzz Kidder Originals sporran to complete things.

Haha, I'm greatly looking forward to this birthday!

The sporran arrived today... I think I am beginning to understand what the "jones" is now. I keep checking to see if my SportKilt order has shipped. It's a medium long with sewn-down pleats and belt loops, and going out USPS, so guess that's why it's taking longer. Oh well, it's still a week to the birthday!
